New About the British Royal Family

Zara (Phillips) Tindall is Pregnant!

As I've announced before, the Duchess of Cambridge (due any day now) and Lady Frederick Windsor (due in August) are expecting. This time, Zara Tindall, the eldest granddaughter of the Queen is expecting her first child with her husband, Mike Tindall. Here's the official announcement:
"Mr and Mrs Mike Tindall are very pleased to announce that Zara Tindall is expecting a baby in the New Year.
The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, Mr Phillip and Mrs Linda Tindall, and members of both families are delighted with the news.
This baby will be the first child for Mike and Zara and the third grandchild for The Princess Royal."
THE PRESS SECRETARY TO THE QUEEN

Mr. and Mrs. Tindall were at the Wimbledon Final yesterday to watch the final between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic. Andy Murray won the match, making him the first British man to win the cup for the first time in 77 years!

Mike Tindall posted on Twitter today, thanking everyone:
"Thanks for all the kind messages, we are very excited and I agree with you all that hopefully he/she won't have my nose ;) #Glawsfamily"

Fashion Awards: Cheltenham Festival

 Best in Coats
Zara Phillips
Zara like last year impressed me with her coats! The red one worn on the second day was my favourite.
Best in Hats
Zara Phillips
Zara again, sweeps my favourite category... again. It's like she plans for the Cheltenham Festival all year!
Best in Normal
Princess Anne
Anne usually comes with her normal style. She's a royal that doesn't care about what people think about her style. She just wants her duties to be done. I admire her for that.

Best in Suprise!
Autumn Phillips and Duchess of Cambridge
Autumn Phillips made an un-expected visit to the festival this year! Her hat looking very... interesting. Kind of like Zara's hat from the Diamond Jubilee last year... Catherine showed up wearing her Lock & Co hat... again. She brought it out of the closet a few weeks ago.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Zara Phillips

Zara hasn't really done much, but I had to add Zara in here. She is one of my favourite Royals, even if she isn't actually classified as a Royal. I was very happy this year at the Olympics, winning a silver medal in equestrian! I am really happy/proud that she accomplished that.

Olympic Style! Part 5, Day 4

This is all the Royals from today! Also, I would like to Congratulate American Swimmer, Michael Phelps on his 19th Olympic Medal (Gold) in the 4x200 m. To make him the most decorated Athlete in Olympic History.

(Bonus Question: Who’s that Royal in Front of Princes Daniel and Carl Philip? Princess Beatrice and actually, Princess Anne and the Duchess of Cornwall is in front of her and Princess Eugenie is next to her.) (Next Bonus Question, it’s Timothy Laurence. And Princess Anne is to his right, but our right).

Royal Fashion Awards: Cheltenham Festival 2012

Anne

Anne attended Day 2 and Day 4. Sadly she didn’t bring her A-game. She did wear a hat Zara wore last year (left).

Worst of Oh Boy & Worst Repeats

Well, first the scarf. I don’t like that scarf (worn in Christmas of 2010). Next, the hat (first worn at Christmas 2011) and many days after that.

Diana wearing the diamond Prince of Wales feather brooch for a theatre visit in Vienna in 1986

Plus, Oh Snap! Camilla wore Diana’s Necklace. Well, she isn’t wearing a dead woman’s necklace. (Well she is) But, the pendant was a gift to all of the Princesses of Wales. First given to Queen Alexandra (if I am not mistaken) and then to all the Princesses of Wales after that. (And possibly to the Duchess of Cambridge?) Diana just added the emerald to it.
