Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth has a very long biography, so I'll sum it up. She accesended to the British and Commenwealth throne in 1952 after her father died (her father got the throne after his brother abdicated). She married Prince Philip in 1947 and had 4 children: Charles (born 1948), Anne (born 1950), Andrew (born 1960), and Edward (born 1964). She celebrated her Diamond Jubilee this year! At the end of the year, I'll show the highlights of the British Monarchy.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

Catherine was not origonally part of my list, but yesterday (or December 3), I was in a really good mood because 1) St. James's Palace announced Kate was Pregnant 2) My crush talked to me :3

Anywho, Catherine has been married to Prince William of Wales (now Duke of Cambridge) since April of 2011. On December 3, Catherine was taken to the hospital because she was diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum, meaning, that a pregnant woman can't drink or eat anything by themselves. However, Catherine is getting better, so hopefully, she'll be out soon, and in a couple of months, we'll see maternity wear!

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Princess Maxima of the Netherlands

Princess Maxima has been married to Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands since 2002. They've had 3 children, Catharina-Amalia (born 2003), Princess Alexia (born 2005), Princess Ariane (born 2007). She has celebrated her 10 year anniversary this year, and her 40th birthday last year. Maxima has become one of my favourite royals for very long now because she seems like an amazing, funny, awesome princess. Also, her fashion choices are usually awesome.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Zara Phillips

Zara hasn't really done much, but I had to add Zara in here. She is one of my favourite Royals, even if she isn't actually classified as a Royal. I was very happy this year at the Olympics, winning a silver medal in equestrian! I am really happy/proud that she accomplished that.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Princess Marie of Denmark

Princess Marie of Denmark has been married to Prince Joachim of Denmark since May of 2008. She has had 2 children, Prince Henrik (born in 2009) and Princess Athena (born in 2012 - I watched her christening, she's so cute!) Marie, like Mary has had many daily royal engagements. This year, she also got the Royal Family Order of Denmark.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Princess Eugenie of York.

Princess Eugenie of York is the youngest daughter of Sarah, Duchess of York and Prince Andrew, Duke of York. Her, like her sister have been in many marathons, attending important British events, including the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Princess Beatrice of York

Some people may hate her, some people might love her. I love her. Princess Beatrice as you may know, wore the toilet hat at the Royal Wedding last year. Well, that's last year. Do you know how much Beatrice has achived since then? She's lost a lot of weight (and looks amazing!), she attends many charity functions with her mom and sister, she's finished a whole marathon (better than I could do). So, long story short, she has done many things, so don't hate her because of her hat.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden

Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden has been married to her husband, Daniel Wrestling since June of 2010. Last year, she announced that she was pregnant with her first child. In February of this year, she gave birth to a baby girl, Princess Estelle. When her and her daughter take the throne, they will be the 4th and 5th queen regents of Sweden. Victoria has the perfect outcomes to a future queen, she carries out tons of engagements, a royal wedding this year, and many more things. She has a baby at home, but works to be a future queen. Well done!

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Crown Princess Mary of Denmark

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has been married to Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark since May of 2004. Since, she has dazzled me with her interesting fashion choices, and beautiful jewelry (like the ones above). She has carried many tours every year, may visits to different places. She spends a lot of time with her family, skiing and this year, going to the Olympics. Mary is a hard-working royal, which puts her on my list.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Stéphanie, Hereditary Grand Duchess of Luxembourg

Stéphanie has been married to Prince Guillaume, Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg in October of 2012 (we'll talk about more of that later). Her and Guillaume announced their engagement in April earlier this year. Since she showed off that engagement ring, I didn't like her a whole lot. Later, she became one of my favourite soon-to-be-royals. Her Wedding Dress, really helped that too.

Best of 2012 - Favourite Royals: Sophie, Countess of Wessex

Does this woman look 47 to you?

Sophie has been married to Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex (the Queen's youngest son) since 1999. In this past year, I've realized how amazing Sophie is. She took 2 Diamond Jubilee tours this year, attended both the Olympics and Paralympics (where she handed out medals). She has undertook many official duties, she's visited many different charities. She's attended important British events, she's gone to a royal wedding. She always looks happy, and never tired, this woman is spectacular!Plus, her style is amazing!
