British Events

Royal Ascot
Royal Ascot took place from June 19-23.
Day 1 came with Elizabeth wearing baby blue, and an aquamarine brooch. Camilla wore the same outfit from the Thames Water Pageant from the Diamond Jubilee. Eugenie wore a weird hat, with a blue dress, and black lace at the top. The Duchess of Gloucester wore a polka-dot white and dark blue jacket and a tilted blue giant hat. Princess Haya of Jordan wore a Dior dress, and a black hat. Last but not least, Princess Anne wore a really light baby blue jacket, dress and hat.
Princess Eugenie - Royal Ascot 2012 - Day 1
Day 2 brought Elizabeth wearing a pink hat, jacket and dress, and the Centenary Rose Brooch. Princess Anne wore the same outfit from her daughter, Zara Phillips’s Wedding last year in July. Princess Haya wore a bright blue dress, and if I’m not mistaken a Philip Treacy hat, her horse, Joviality also won first place in the Windsor Forest Stakes. The Countess of Wessex wore a nice light gray number with a very large hat, and a aquamarine brooch that she wore to Princess Charlene and Prince Albert’s Wedding in July of last year.

Day 3 brought us Elizabeth in a green coat and a green hat with peacock feathers, she also wore the Teck Corsage Brooch. Countess of Wessex looked great in a white jacket and dress, also with a white hat, with a flower-like object on the side. Princess Beatrice made her first appearance at Royal Ascot this year, she wore a white hat with red and white decorations on the side; she also wore a lace white dress with red details around the dress. Princess Anne wore the same dress, coat and hat from the royal wedding from last year in April. Princess Eugenie wore a weird hat, again, a white dress with a hidden black belt and some cool shoes. Princess Haya wore a orange dress and coat, as well as a giant pink hat with a pink flower on the side. Princess Michael of Kent, wore a giant white hat with a black flower on the inside, as well as a black coat and a black spotted white dress.

Day 4 gave us the Queen wearing a purple hat, a purple coat and dress, an amethyst and diamond brooch. Plus, her horse Estimate won, and Prince Philip gave her the trophy (awww). Princess Haya won again that day, her horse Newfangled won the Albany Stakes. Haya wore a dress from Dior couture; she also wore a black hat. Princess Michael of Kent wore a gray turban-like hat on the back of her head, an a gray tweed jacket.

The last day, gave us Elizabeth wearing a green coat, a floral dress, a blue and green hat and the Flame Lily brooch. Princess Beatrice wore a pink dress, coat, and a white hat with something weird in the back of the hat. Autumn Phillips came! She wore the same dress (an possibly altered hat) from the Diamond Jubilee service at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Prince William
Prince William turned 30 on June 21. Happy belated birthday Will.

Garter Day
Garter Day gave us The Queen was in her normal Garter Day wear, with Ruby earrings! The Duchess of Cornwall wore a hat from Trooping the Colour 2010, her trusty chocker, and a outfit I swear she has worn before. The Countess of Wessex wore the jacket from Mike and Zara’s Wedding last year and a nifty fascinator. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a McQueen Jacket/Dress that she wore to Trooping the Colour, 2011 with a white hat to match. The Duchess of Gloucester wore a nice blue jacket and hat. The Viscountess Linley wore a shiny brown jacket and a beige hat. The Lady Sarah Chatto wore a white dress, jacket and a wide-brimmed hat.

Trooping the Colour
Trooping the Colour gave us, the queen in the same outfit and hat from the Royal Wedding in April 2011. The Duchess of Cornwall wore a repeat hat from the 2009 Trooping the Colour, and a aquamarine brooch! The Duchess of Cambridge wore a Erdem dress, and a fascinator on the forehead. The Countess of Wessex wore a outfit from the Royal Wedding in 2011. Beatrice wore a terrible hot pink satin hat, and a blue and pink dress and jacket. Eugenie wore a feathered hat, a red coat, and a beige dress, Princess Michael of Kent wore a sailor’s hat, and a white jacket. Lady Louise Windsor wore a purple dress.
