Every year, on January 1st, the Danish Royal Family (the Queen, Prince Consort, Crown Prince, Crown Princess, Prince Joachim, and Princess Marie), as well as the Japenese Imperial Family celebrate the New Year. I'm sure they is just a ceremony to ring in the New Year. All I really know, is that there is tiaras.
I don't really want to be mean to the Danish ladies. Well, Mary's outfit is really nice, a orange dress repeated from 2010. She wore Queen Ingrid's Ruby Parure Tiara, which she's worn every year for a while. Margrethe wore a blue velvet dress that she wore to her Ruby Jubilee. She also is wearing her gold tiara that she recieved from the people of Greenland for her Ruby Jubilee. Lastly, Marie wore a new shiny pink dress with weird ruffles in the back. She wore her usual Diamond Floral Tiara. I was betting on her new tiara, that she hasn't debuted yet. Picture Source: MyRoyals - Hollywood
